Update 1.1.3 Fixes Your Bricked iPhone

...that is if you were dumb enough to hack your iPhone in the first place and then run an Apple update without checking the blog-o-sphere first for gotchas. The good news is that you'll be all better once you run the latest update from Apple. It seems that software version 1.1.3 updates nearly all of the firmware in the iPhone that would have caused the iPhone to be damaged in the first place. So a formerly broken phone should come back to life. Thanks Apple. :)

Best iPhone Headphones EVER!

I just started using the new headphones from NewerTech and they are the BEST headphones I've used! I love them because they are very very light in your ears, the bass response is great, they are incredibly comfortable (can't hardly tell they're in) and on top of all that they also have a microphone so you can make calls! There is also a version without the microphone if you don't need it, but it costs the same, so I say 'why not!?'

The ONLY downside is that the microphone on the cord is larger and less elegantly simple as the one that Apple has on the stock iPhone headphones. It's at least twice the size of the Apple mic, and you have a hard to feel button instead of clicking the whole thing to use it. There is a great benefit of this mic and that is that the sound quality for people at the other end of the phone is crystal clear.

So if you can live with the larger than needs to be mic, these headphones are the most comfortable and best sounding ones I've never had.

This is my favorite full coverage case I've found to date. It's the Eco iPhone Shield. One of it's coolest features is that it's made from all recycled plastic. I guess that's the 'Eco' part of the name. I comes in two parts that snap together snuggly over your iPhone. This thing can take a good hit. Must be made by Timex. ;)

GelaSkins: Decent Protection Without All The Bulk

I have one of these and really like how it protects the back of the iPhone without adding any real weight or bulk. It won't help much if you drop the thing, but if you're looking for something that will help day by day to keep the back side from scratching while you set you iPhone down, this will do you well.
